We are so pleased to present our first live concert since the pandemic began. Join us for a trip down memory lane, with songs from the early days (1976-2000) of Nevenka. We are delighted to sing with a full tamburica orchestra once again, as well as Orkestar Pečurka, and other surprise musical guests!
Dr. Anthony Shay, founding director of the Aman and Avaz Folk Ensembles, will speak a bit about the early days of Balkan music in Los Angeles, and the flowering of Nevenka from the seeds we discovered in Aman.
