We’re pleased to join choreographer Jax Neal in HALA, a live dance theater performance with original music by Adriana Duque and traditional Balkan music performed by Nevenka.

HALA is a contemporary ode to folkloric traditions, named after the dragon Hala or Ala in Balkan folk stories who swallows the sun to create the eclipse. Using a mix of contemporary dance, live choral music, and original electronic music, HALA considers the origins of our light and darkness. 

The performances are Friday September 5 and Saturday September 6, starting at 8 p.m., at LA Dance Project in downtown LA. Tickets are available online here.

Parking is available in the lot behind the building, and on the street. Carpooling is recommended.
